Pop Up Workday – Firewood Stacking

Please join us for the fun and easy task of stacking split firewood into our Drying Racks at Mirror Lake State Park.  This is so easy our grandkids have helped with it.  We will meet at the Park office at 9:00 a.m. and plan to work for a couple hours.  A free light lunch of cold cut sandwiches will be provided afterward.  We could use at least four people and two vehicles for hauling and at least four people for stacking.

We have about 3 cords of split and partially dried wood that needs to be hauled from a couple miles away to the park and then stacked into the Drying Racks.  We have one small utility trailer already but could use one or two more (or pickup trucks).  Please let us know if you can provide this additional hauling capacity by submitting the form below.  It will really speed up the entire process.

Location: Meet at the Park Office or, if you arrive late, turn right at the first driveway after the dump stations just past the office parking lot.  It is directly across from the road to Blue Water Bay Campground.
